Who am I?
As Founder of You Are Free®, I have helped
countless individuals in making the transition away from full-time corporate
employment to creating work they love. After working for a U.S.
Senator, advising businesses and foreign governments on international
countertrade and barter deals while working for a money-center bank, and
helping to shift corporate cultures through corporate training and
development efforts, I decided to work with individuals―effecting change one
at a time. I’ve been helping individuals to create worklives for themselves
for over 10 years.
Helping people to discover their talents/gifts, to find their unique sense
of purpose in the world, and to align their gifts with their purpose is what
I do. I believe that everyone has been given special talents and gifts and
our “job” is to discover these abilities, develop them, and use them to
fulfill our sense of purpose in the world, thereby making our contribution.
This, I believe, is what gives our lives meaning. Everyone has the right to
make their mark by fulfilling their unique purpose. This is the basic
philosophy, which underlies my work.
At another level, I help my clients to create work that allows them to
express who they are. We create opportunities for them to use their talents
and abilities. Many times, these natural abilities have not yet been
developed and so we create a portfolio of work activities that allows the
client to make money using experienced skills while creating space for the
natural abilities to be developed.
